SADA Visit

As part of our participation in the IADC Middle East Drilling Conference in Saudi Arabia, the IADC Suez University Student Chapter conducted a structured technical visit to the Saudi Arabian Drilling Academy (SADA). The visit provided our team with direct exposure to high-standard training environments, including advanced drilling simulators, practical training yards, and fully equipped mud and cement laboratories. This allowed our members to observe modern training methodologies and industry-aligned competency development first-hand. The experience contributed to enhancing our chapter’s technical understanding, broadening our perspective on operational training standards, and strengthening our connection with a leading regional institution in drilling education. This technical visit forms part of our chapter’s ongoing commitment to aligning student development with real-world industry practices and maintaining strong engagement with key organizations across the drilling sector.
